Begin anew
What a great Summer program. I think this last summer was one of our best ever. Great trip to Colorado, a fun-filled, adventure loaded, rank advancing, merit badge earning summer camp, camping in the tree houses and canoeing on Nims Lake (where we were the only scouts at S-F), and closing up with a BBQ and pool party.
But what could be better you may ask? How about a large turnout at our first back to school meeting, this weekend's Dare program on Saturday at the Wildwood Police station from 9-11 am, Sunday's Operation Clean Stream (meet at Shenandoah at 6:30am with a water bottle, sunscreen, a sack lunch, money for breakfast, and ready for a day of fun, and then looking forward to the Webelos BBQ in September and the Cards game on the 13th of Sept.
I hope you are all as excited about the start of another great year as I am. Also, please check the website for meeting, activity, and campout updates. Announcements will hopefully be posted weekly also, so check them out before each meeting so we don't spend a lot of time on them there. Stay involved, make suggestions to your SPL, and have fun.....The opportunities are endless.

Mr Schwartz
